Chapter 6

As I walked back onto the platform with all of the other stationary spaceships. I begin to think to myself about where to possibly head next. I knew where the Azorian were, but I don't want them to think I'm an enemy. Finding a Hunkle would be my first task, but finding one is no easy task.

That's when I heard movement from near the front door of the Josco Homes. I turned my attention toward the door confused. Though, I didn't see anybody leave. The door was wide open like somebody just went through it. There's no wind, so that couldn't explain this.

I started toward the door for a bit, waiting if anybody will show themself. When nothing appeared, I decided to leave it off as some other natural force. I turned my attention back up to the stars above. Still thinking to myself about the next option. Suddenly another sound of movement was heard, only closer this time.

In fear I was about to be attacked, I yank out my sword and hold it in front of me. I instantly turn toward the cause of the noise. The sword lit up with energy covering all over it. The light blue energy lit up the surroundings like a light source. Which revealed something forming against the wall of Josco Homes. A dark figure emerged from a dark energy.

I stared at the figure as it completely formed into a solid. The figure appeared to be human like me, but had dark clothing all over, with a hoodie over its head. I couldn't see its face, as it was covered by a skeleton mask. Its hands have gloves, with skeleton imprints on top to give the look of skeleton fingers. That's when the figure reached its arm out to the side of itself. A large staff formed into its hand. It was like someone was trying to imitate and dress up like the grim reaper.

I stared at them for a bit, feeling threatened by the staff. Though, they never moved an inch. Only holding the staff in front of it and standing it up right. I soon got the courage to speak, "Who are you? What do you want?" The creature ignored me speaking to it, only for it to suddenly leap into attack. The staff was the first to swing toward me.

I swung the sword into a defensive stance and held it upwards. The staff clanged against the sword, but didn't get affected by the sword's energy. Almost like it was immune by the distinagrating properties of the sword. Using the sword, I push the creature backwards to get it off of me.

The creature slammed it's back against the wall. However, I didn't seem to be injured at all. I decided to let the energy of the sword go through my body and into my hands. When I felt the energy, I decided to start shooting beams of energy toward it. It deflected the energy with it's staff as it ran toward me.

Eventually, our weapons hit each other again. I try to kick the creature with energy going to my foot to give more force. Though, it didn't do much as the creature's dark energy deformed it's proportions from solid, into gas. Making my kicks go through it's body. Frustrated, I use the energy of the sword to cause a large energy wave around me.

It was pushed several feet back, but recovered itself as it's body deformed again. The entire creature went into the platform as if it was going through it. I attempt to use the sword's energy to go after it. Trying to collide the energys together so I can grab it. However, it was no use as I didn't get it in time.

I reached my arm out of the platform and looked up. I started to check my surroundings for any sign of the creature. Though, before I could turn around. The creature attacked me from behind, its staff clanged against my arm as I reached it up to defend myself. My arm was uninjured as the energy of the sword protected me.

That's when I decided to use the sword to stab it as I kept my arm up. The creature instantly deformed its body to make the sword go through it without making contact. I was left in shock as the creature used intense force to punch me back. Causing me to fly several feet backwards, until I dug my sword into the pavement of the platform to stop my movement.

I yanked it out again and held it in front of me in defense. I don't know where this creature came from, or why it's after me. However, I can tell the staff might be the source of it's power. The creature threw its arm forward, resulting in dark energy to spurt out. That's when the dark energy formed a large four legged creature. Though, it didn't transform into a solid object. It remained a gas, though several feet larger than me.

The energy wrapped around the sword again and lit up my surroundings again. I leaped forward toward the creature and used the light of the energy to destroy it. I was beginning to understand at this point that dark energy didn't like light. Though, the entity with the staff wasn't done. More dark energy started to appear from out of its hand.

More creatures started to take shape and began leaping toward me. I continue using the energy of the sword to destroy the creatures one by one. The entity with the staff eventually decides to stop and begin making its way toward me. Right as I destroy the last creature from the dark energy, me and an entity with the staff finally come eye to eye with each other. I still keep the sword tight in my hands in defense as I stare at it with annoyance.

I slowly begin to make my way toward the creature again. The entity remained where it was, holding the staff in its hands tightly. Before either of us could leap toward each other, I heard the sound of flames above me. A bright light of yellow and orange lit up our surroundings. It slowly grew larger as it got closer.

The entity and I look upwards to the mysterious light. That's when I saw a familiar shape drop down and land onto the platform. The light was from a flame wrapping around an axe and nunchucks. It didn't seem as though that either the familiar figure, or the weapons themselves.

When the figure stood between me and the creature with the staff. They didn't look back to me, instead their attention was toward the creature and its staff. I took a step back as I watched the two of them. Within a few seconds, the figure threw its nunchucks in a spinning motion toward the other creature. While still on fire, the creature used its staff to bash it away from it.

Though, the figure was running toward it with the staff tightly held in its hand. As the axe was on fire, the figure held it in front of itself. The creature swung its staff toward the figure in an attempt to stop them. However, the figure got onto its knees and used its momentum to slide. Throwing its head back to dodge the staff. Right as they passed the staff, they swung their axe straight into the creature's leg.

The flame instantly burnt through the clothing of the creature. As the figure yanked the axe out and slashed it into its neck. The creature grunted in pain, as its body deformed into gas again. The figure lifted the axe upwards into the air, instantly the flame grew large. Lighting up the entire surroundings brightly, nearly making my eyes flinch from its brightness.

As soon as the brightness lit up the entire platform lit up. The dark energy of the creature disappeared. Eventually, the figure with the axe lowered it and the flame died down. After a few minutes, the creature never returned. Giving the sign that it ran off from the area. Leaving only me and the figure with the axe and nunchucks.

I watched without moving an inch, as they went over to the nunchucks and picked them up with the other hand. I couldn't see their face, but I could tell they were wearing a double hoodie. Almost as if it was for a second head. Growing curious, I slowly moved toward it. "Um, thanks for the help, but I feel like I know you from somewhere."

That's when the figure turned to face me. My eyes widened and lit up with shock as I tried to comprehend what I'm looking at. I even attempted to rub my eyes, but none of it made the person disappear. That’s when my vision adjusted and I recognized who it was, "Hank? Hoy? Is it really you guys?!"

That's when I could more easily see their faces. It really was the Siamese twins of Hank and Hoy, just as I expected them to be. No wonder they look so familiar. Hank and Hoy's expressions instantly lit up with excitement, growing large grins. "Floyd!" Hank yelled with some laughter.

"It's so good to see you man!" Hoy said shortly after Hank. They walked over to me and gave me a tight hug. With their size, it felt a bit too tight. Though, I was able to manage before being let go. I chuckled along with them, before Hoy asked a question. "What exactly are you doing out here?"

"Yeah, it can be pretty dangerous out here if you're not careful."

I nodded in agreement as my eyes wandered over to where the dark entity with the staff was not long ago. "Yeah, I can see that." Then, I look back up at them and examined them fully. They were a large jacket, but they also appeared to have medieval armor on them. It covered their chest, shoulders, arms, legs, and even neck. I never expected to still see that on anybody out here, especially Hank and Hoy. "What's with the gettup?"

"It's just for simple protection, just in case anybody with sharp weapons attempts to stab us." Hank says.

"The jacket is more for hiding us." Hoy says as he uses the left hand to rub against the fabric of the hoodie.

"I see." That's when my eyes observed the more obvious features of Hank and Hoy. They had yellow skin, and a slightly larger build than an average human. Almost making them like giants to us. My thoughts went back to what the bartender said about Hunkles. Hank and Hoy matched the description perfectly. I look both of them in the eyes, "I have a question, are you guys part of the Hunkle species?"

Hank nodded in response, "Yep! Fully Hunkle blooded."

"Why do you ask?" Hoy's expression turned to curiosity.

"I was told your species can get me inside the Azorian airspace. I need your help with that." Hank and Hoy were surprised by this, glancing at each other before looking down at me.

"Woah! Floyd, why do you need to get in there? Don't you know that they are very strict with outsiders?" I nod in response in understanding.

"I know, that's why I need at least one of your species to get in. If they see a Hunkle with another outsider, they might have a higher chance of trusting me."

"But why though? What exactly would the Azorians have that would be so important?" Hoy asks, Hank giving an approval nod in agreement.

"Because, I need to find information on destroying the Robanians. However, I can't do that if I don't know where their military is." Hank and Hoy's expressions grew to surprise, but I can see some slight worry.

Hank placed his hand onto my shoulder, "Floyd, that's ridiculous. That's a suicide mission. The grandmaster is a tough individual. He'd kill you for trying to destroy his army."

"Which is why, I'm going to need help. If it's possible, I can try and convince the Azorian to give assistance. However, I'm going to need to talk to the Azorian leaders. Whoever leads the army that is." Hank and Hoy went silent, thinking to themselves in silence.

Eventually, I placed my hand onto his shoulder. "I know you hate them too. I helped rescue you from the Robanians. I could really use your help in return." Hank and Hoy's expressions lit up as they looked at me. They remained silent for a while, but eventually grew smiles. They both nodded in approval, accepting my offer.

I grew a grin as I let go of his hand, he did the same back with my shoulder. "Awesome, thank you Hank and Hoy." About to start leading the way, Hank stopped me in my tracks.

"Wait, we're going to need a spacecraft to get us there." I grew curious and interested, so I decided to follow them. Walking toward the end of the platform, eventually they walked up to a large spacecraft sitting still. Hank and Hoy opened the door of the spacecraft. Flopping down to the ground like a ramp, and flicking on a light switch.

The inside of their spacecraft was more easily visible inside. I chuckled as I walked inside the spacecraft, with Hank and Hoy following behind. Hoy closed the door up, and they began making their way to the front of the spacecraft. I followed closely behind until we made our way to the cockpit. Hank and Hoy sat down in the pilot seat, while I sat down in the passenger side. "Hope you're ready, because things are going to be a bit bumpy." Hoy told me as they both flipped buttons and switches on their side.

I strapped myself to the seat, placing the sword behind my back against the chair. As the spacecraft roared into motion, I felt it rise upwards from the platform. It rotated around, until Hank and Hoy stopped it in a specific direction. Then, the spacecraft started to slowly leave outside the bubble of the Josco Homes. Before I knew it, we began traveling fast toward the direction they chose.
